Description

One pottery lunch plate made by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries.
8-1/4" in diameter.
The pattern is a variation of double pears
Colonial shape with a fluted and scalloped rim.
Green trim.
Manufacturing flaws in the form of little bumps that have discolored (see photo).
One small edge crack (see photo).
The back stamp is faded.
Vintage & EXTREMELY HARD to FIND Dish/Bowl by Blue Ridge China - 7 1/4” Round & 1 1/2” Deep Glazed Pottery Bowl/Dish for a Baby or Child. See condition notes above, but in general, the item is in solid, sturdy shape and can still be used; no major dents/cracks/breaks of any kind. Simply some fading on the rim and spots of fading in the center of the dish/bowl where the nursery rhyme and theme are situated.
The dish/bowl rim reads, “Baby,” and the center reads “Georgie Porgie, pudding and pie, Kissed the girls and made them cry.”
