CONNECTIVITY & CONTROLS
Equipped with two SSL-designed analog microphone preamps and pristine 24-bit/192 kHz converters, the new SSL2+ delivers studio-quality recordings. The rear panel features two studio-grade Neutrik mic/line combo jacks, two balanced monitor outputs, and four unbalanced outputs for additional connectivity. Easily create separate mixes for the artist and engineer using two dedicated headphone outputs, powered by a custom high-current headphone amplifier. You can even interface with your favorite controller devices using the built-in MIDI connections.
Quickly set up for recording with easy-access front-panel controls for phantom power, input selection and more. Each preamp features a 5-segment LED meter for a super-simple visual level reference. With dedicated controls for both headphone outputs and a low-latency monitor mix control, the SSL 2+ makes it easy to quickly dial in the perfect headphone mix.

Inspired by the signature sound of the iconic SSL 4000 console, the all-new Legacy 4K button instantly adds classic color and character to your tracks. This new analog enhancement circuit combines the classic bite of the ‘242’ and ‘292’ EQ circuits, the legendary punch of the SSL G-Series Bus Compressor, and the unmatched versatility of the groundbreaking SuperAnalogue preamps to deliver a truly one-of-a-kind sound. By introducing a gentle high-frequency boost and subtle harmonic distortion, the new 4K circuit delivers an edgy, ‘in-your-face’ sound—providing you with two totally unique sonic pallets to choose from.
